The remains of the Molniya UAV: Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On 12 November, at around 13:55, two civilians were injured as a result of a hostile drone attack in the Saltovsky district of Kharkiv. Under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This is reported by TimeUkraineIsrael with reference to the telegram channel of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Attack on civilians
According to the investigation, the enemy drone struck an open area. Two women were injured as a result of the attack. One of them, a 50-year-old woman, suffered an acute stress reaction as a result of the psychological shock of the explosion. The other, a 55-year-old woman, sustained a serious shrapnel wound and burn.
The attack also caused significant damage: windows in multi-storey buildings were smashed, which once again confirms the targeting of civilian objects.
Using the latest attack drone
Previously, the enemy had used a new development to carry out this strike – the Molniya strike drone, which allows for targeted strikes on specific targets. This is yet another indication that Russia continues to use modern technologies in warfare aimed at killing civilians and destroying infrastructure.
Prosecutors work to document war crimes
The prosecutor’s office and law enforcement agencies are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military. Investigators and prosecutors are actively working to collect all the necessary evidence to bring the perpetrators to justice for violations of international humanitarian law.
