27 October 2024 marks the 387th day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel is waging against terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Judea and Samaria. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have been striking at key Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, particularly in the capital Beirut. Four Israeli soldiers were killed in recent fighting in southern Lebanon. “Hezbollah and its allied groups continue to attack Israel with drones and rockets. At the same time, the active phase of operations continues in Gaza, Judea and Samaria.

Tzevah Adom sirens are sounding again in Metul, near the border with Lebanon. According to preliminary reports, the area was shelled with rockets.

IDF forces report casualties: four reservists killed in fighting in southern Lebanon. The names of the dead have been made public:
- reserve captain Avraham Yosef Goldberg, 43, Jerusalem, military rabbi of the 8207th battalion of the 228th Alon Brigade;
- Reserve Sergeant Major Gilad Elmaliah, 30, Jerusalem;
- Reserve Captain Amit Hayu, 29, Haifa;
- Reserve Major Eliav Amram Abitbol, 36, Eitan, deputy company commander.
At the same time, a terrorist attack took place in Ramat a-Sharon, injuring dozens of people. The driver of a truck that crashed into a bus stop was shot dead on the spot.

Sirens sounded in a number of settlements near the Lebanese border, including Kiryat Shmona and Manara. Numerous drone launches were detected.

Two civilians were injured in a drone attack in the West Bank. The men were hospitalised in the Galil hospital in Nahariya.

IDF 162nd Division forces killed over 40 militants in the northern Gaza Strip. The Air Force is actively attacking targets used by terrorists.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force killed more than 70 Hezbollah militants and destroyed more than 120 strategic terrorist targets, including arms depots in Beirut.
