8 November 2024, Friday, marks the 399th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel has been waging against terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria since 7 October 2023. According to TimeUkraineIsrael , citing Newsru.co.il, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continue to strike terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, while operating in Judea and Samaria.

The IDF detects an incursion of an enemy drone in the Margaliot area. Alarms were sounded in settlements in the Haifa Bay and the Upper Galilee, including Kiryat Yam, Akko and Ein a-Mifratz.

Permission to publish: Guy Shabtai, a 39-year-old reserve sergeant major from Jerusalem, who was seriously wounded in action on 26 October in southern Lebanon, has died in hospital. He served in Battalion 8207 of the 228th Alon Brigade as a coordinator of Jewish traditions and morale.

The pro-Iranian group Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has attacked an “important site” in northern Israel with a drone. An alert was issued in Zarit, on the border with Lebanon, and in the northern Golan Heights.

Sources in Gaza report that the IAF struck targets in Jabaliya, in the northern part of the Strip, and Kfar Tibnit in Lebanon, killing two people. IDF helicopters attacked targets in northern Gaza and southern Lebanon. Four people were killed near the Al-Mashtal hotel in Gaza.

Early warning sirens sounded in Haifa, Acre, Krayot, Naceretz and Migdal Emek. Ten rockets were reportedly launched. Some of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system, while others fell in the open. The “Tzeva Adom” alarm was activated south of Haifa.
