Wednesday, 13 November 2024, is the 404th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel has been waging against terrorist groups in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria since 7 October 2023. According to TimeUkraineIsrael, citing Newsru.co.il, the IDF is actively expanding its ground operation in southern Lebanon, while simultaneously conducting air strikes in the suburbs of Beirut. However, attacks on Israeli territory by Hezbollah and other pro-Iranian groups do not stop.

The “Tzeva Adom” siren was activated at the Erez crossing near the northern border of the Gaza Strip. A rocket was reportedly launched from northern Gaza and landed in an open area. Air raid warnings were also sounded in the settlements of the Western and Upper Galilee in northwestern Israel.

The IDF reports that before noon, Israeli air defence systems intercepted four drones approaching from Lebanon and the east. There were no casualties. At the same time, “Tzevah adom” was heard in several settlements in the Upper Galilee – approximately 20 rockets were fired from Lebanon, most of which were intercepted, but some fell on Israeli territory.

Lebanese sources report a new IDF airstrike on targets in southern Beirut, the fourth in 24 hours. The Islamic Jihad terrorist organisation has released a new video with Alexander Trufanov, who was abducted on 7 October. In the video, he confirms that he is being held by the Al-Quds Brigades.

The IDF reports the elimination of three Hezbollah field commanders in southern Lebanon. Among those killed are Mahmoud Musa Salah, a militant commander in the Al-Hiam area responsible for rocket attacks on Israel, Iman Muhammad Nabulsi, commander of anti-tank forces in the Hajjir sector, and Haj Ali Yusuf Salah, who headed the Tabnat unit in Hajjir.

The IDF confirms an overnight attack on Hezbollah targets in Dahiyeh, a southern suburb of Beirut. The strikes targeted the organisation’s headquarters and warehouses, which were located in civilian areas, with the Israeli military noting that measures were taken to minimise civilian harm.

The Israeli military attacked about 120 targets in Gaza and Lebanon over the past 24 hours. Soldiers of the IDF’s 91st Division continue operations in southern Lebanon, destroying terrorists and Hezbollah infrastructure. The forces of the 36th Division also continue to operate, and the Golani Brigade discovered a tunnel with residential and commercial premises.
