Wednesday, 20 November 2024, is the 411th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel has been waging against terrorist organisations in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria since 7 October 2023. This is reported by Time Ukraine Israel portal with reference to Newsru.co.il.
The IDF is conducting military operations in southern Lebanon, while continuing large-scale operations in the Gaza Strip. A soldier was killed and another officer was seriously injured in a battle in the north of the Strip. Active operations are also taking place in Judea and Samaria. The Hezbollah terrorist group, along with other Iranian proxies, continues to attack Israel.

12:00
The IDF killed two Hezbollah commanders in southwestern Lebanon. One of them was in general command, and the other was in charge of an anti-tank weapons unit. Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force attacked more than 100 terrorist targets in Lebanon, including rocket launchers, weapons depots and headquarters.

- In Gaza, the Israeli Air Force struck a building in the Zeitoun area, injuring several people.
- A building destroyed by the Israeli military exploded in Rafah.

The Tzevah Adom siren sounded again in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas. One of the rockets hit a residential building, partially destroying an apartment.

- IDF artillery shelled a target in the Jabaliya area, killing one person.
- The death of Staff Sergeant Roy Sasson, 21, was officially confirmed during a battle in northern Gaza. The commander of the Nahshon battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Yoel Glickman, and another officer were wounded in the same battle.

- In Lebanon, IDF UAVs attacked a car in the Burj al-Mlukeh area and a target in Marakah, killing two people.
- In Gaza, a quadcopter hit a facility in Nusairat.
- In Judea and Samaria, the Israeli military carried out detentions in various settlements, including Jenin and Dir Balut.

- The IDF reports the infiltration of three UAVs from Lebanon. The drones crashed in the Western Galilee, with no casualties.
