25 November 2024, the Iron Swords War, which has been ongoing since 7 October 2023, continues with attacks by Hezbollah and other pro-Iranian forces on the border with Lebanon. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) has intensified operations in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, and southern Lebanon. According to the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing Newsru.co.il, the fighting is expanding to several fronts.

Alarms in border settlements in northern Israel, including Sasa, Dovev, Baram and Tzivon. Early warning system activated in Metula and nearby settlements.
11:00
A rocket alert was sounded in Kibbutz Kfar Aza and other areas near Gaza. Rocket warnings were activated in Metul and along the border with Lebanon. In response, the Israeli Air Force conducted air strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut.

Lebanese sources report large-scale IDF strikes on Hezbollah targets in the Dahiyeh area, south of Beirut. At the same time, Israeli air defence forces shot down a drone that had infiltrated from Lebanon. IDF Colonel Avihai Edrai warned residents of Dahiyeh of future attacks on Hezbollah targets.

Colonel Edrai called on residents of the Lebanese village of Halta to evacuate to the north due to Hezbollah activity. Alarms were sounded in Avivim and Irona, as well as in Kiryat Shmona, signalling a possible rocket attack.

A rocket alert was issued in Nagariya and nearby towns in the Western Galilee due to massive shelling from Lebanon. Ambulance services reported an elderly man injured by shrapnel.

The IDF has reported the successful destruction of rocket launchers targeting northern Israeli cities, as well as weapons depots used by Hezbollah. Over the past day, air strikes have caused significant losses to the terrorist organisation in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military reportedly killed Ahmad Abd Halim Abu Hussein, commander of the East Jabalia battalion in Gaza, who was responsible for shelling Israel.

The Israeli Air Force attacked targets in the northern Gaza Strip. The shelling targeted militants in the town of Nuseirat, where several people were wounded.

The IDF conducted operations in several West Bank settlements, including Baqa al-Khatab and Qalqilya, where it detained suspected terrorists.

The pro-Iranian group Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced an attack on southern Israel using a drone. Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported civilian casualties, dead and wounded as a result of strikes on Hezbollah positions.
