On the 426th day of the Iron Swords war, which has been ongoing since 7 October 2023, Israel continues to fight against terrorist organisations in several regions: Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon, and Syria. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) remain active in southern Lebanon, northern and central Gaza, as well as in Judea and Samaria, Time Ukraine Israel reports, citing Newsru.co.il.
Chronology of events: 5 December 2024

IDF releases weekly report on operations in Judea and Samaria. Seven terrorists were killed, about 50 people were detained, and 15 weapons were seized. On the night of 5 December, the Shomron Brigade and Duvdevan Special Forces conducted operations in Shkhem, Bait Furik and other villages in Samaria. Seven suspects were detained, and three Karl Gustav submachine guns, two pistols and ammunition were found. Two wanted men were detained in Judea and three more in Binyamin. Israeli forces suffered no casualties.

“Suspicious activity” is detected on the border with Jordan, south of the Dead Sea. Significant forces have been sent to the area to search for possible terrorists.
Sources in Gaza reported an IDF strike near Kamal Aduan hospital in Bait Lahiya, killing seven people. Another strike in Khirbat al-Adas in the southern part of the Strip resulted in militant casualties.
