Information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces: as of today, 65 combat clashes have been recorded at the front, which indicates a high intensity of hostilities. The occupiers continue their active activities in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions. Our defenders courageously hold the lines and disrupt the aggressor’s plans.
Shelling and terrorist attacks
During the day, a number of settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions were subjected to terrorist attacks. The enemy fired artillery at Brusky, Malushyn, Pavlivka, Zhuravka, Velyka Pisarivka and Boyaro-Lezhachy. Esman, Bilovody, Zhuravka, Buvalyne and Yastrubshchyna were hit by air strikes. It is known about ten airstrikes that were carried out on the territory of the Kursk region, using 12 guided air bombs.
Directions of hostilities
Kharkiv direction: the enemy launched two attacks in the Vovchansk region, where the battle is ongoing. The situation remains under control.
Kupyansk direction: the enemy tried to advance to our positions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Kruglyakivka, Lozova and Stelmakhivka, ten skirmishes were recorded. The occupiers dropped nine aerial bombs on the territory of Kupyansk and Kupyansk-Vuzlovoy.
Lyman direction: the aggressor stepped up, carrying out five attacks near Cherneshchyna, Druzhelyubivka, Novosadovo, and Dibrova.
Seversky direction: the enemy tried to break through our defenses in the Vyimka area. Airstrikes on Ivanivka, Sviato-Pokrovsky and Sloviansk were also recorded.
Kramatorsk direction: our defenders repelled two attacks near Kalynyvka and Klischiivka, and five enemy attacks were stopped near Hryhorivka and Stupochki.
Toretsk direction: the invader, supported by attack and bomber aircraft, carried out four attacks in the districts of Dachne, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and Nelipivka, where fighting continues.
Current situation
The greatest activity of the enemy is observed in the Pokrovsky direction, where 21 clashes of varying intensity took place. Fighting continues in six locations in the districts of Novotoretsk, Grodivka, Novogrodivka, and Marynivka. The enemy carried out airstrikes by NARs in the direction of Alexandropol.
The situation remains difficult in the Kurakhiv direction, where six assaults near Hirnyk, Tsukuryny, Zhelany Drugo and Katerynivka were repulsed. In the Vremivka area, the aggressor is attacking near Vugledar and Vodyanyi, where four clashes are ongoing. No active actions were recorded in the Gulyaipil and Orihiv directions, but the enemy continues airstrikes and artillery shelling.
Dnieper direction: our defenders successfully repelled the enemy’s assault.
Ukrainian troops continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of battle and in the rear.
