The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated statistics on combat losses of the Russian occupiers from the beginning of the full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022 to 14 October 2024. During this period, the invading army suffered significant losses in both personnel and military equipment.

Estimated enemy combat losses:

  • Personnel: about 670,190 people (+1260 per day).
  • Tanks: 8975 units (+4).
  • Armoured combat vehicles: 17,895 units (+19).
  • Artillery systems: 19,421 units (+11).
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1231 units (unchanged).
  • Air defence systems: 978 units (unchanged).
  • Aircraft: 369 units (unchanged).
  • Helicopters: 329 units (unchanged).
  • Operational and tactical level drones: 17,009 units (+17).
  • Cruise missiles: 2619 units (unchanged).
  • Ships and boats: 28 units (unchanged).
  • Submarines: 1 unit (no changes).
  • Automotive equipment and tankers: 26,622 units (+38).
  • Special equipment: 3437 units (+2).

These figures underscore the constant losses of the Russian occupiers on all fronts, and, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the data on losses are constantly being updated. The successes of Ukrainian defenders on the battlefield are a strong argument in the ongoing struggle for the country’s independence and sovereignty.
