Over the past day, 169 combat engagements took place on the frontline between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian occupation forces. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 11 October.
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery conducted a number of successful operations, including eight strikes on areas where enemy forces and equipment were concentrated. Two command posts, one artillery system, a helicopter and a fuel and lubrication base were destroyed.
Russian troops continue to try to increase pressure on the positions of Ukrainian units. Over the past day, the enemy carried out six missile attacks, firing 17 missiles, 71 air strikes and over 4,600 artillery attacks, including from multiple launch rocket systems.
Fierce fighting continues in the Kharkiv sector. Five clashes were registered in the areas of Vovchansk and Tykhyne. In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 attacks, including in the areas of Sinkivka, Lozova and Novoselivka.
The situation remains the most tense in the Liman sector, where 30 enemy attacks were recorded. Ukrainian defence forces are heroically holding back the Russians in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Hrekivka and Serebryansky Forest.
In other areas, the enemy continues to attack, but our troops successfully repel them. In particular, 24 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector and five in the Prydniprovsky sector.
The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissya directions remains stable, with no signs of enemy offensive groups forming. On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russians continue shelling Ukrainian settlements, actively using aviation.
Ukrainian troops continue operations in the Kursk region, inflicting losses on Russian forces.
