On the night of 11 December, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a precision strike on an oil depot in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. Bryansk Strategic Oil Depot
The Bryansk oil depot is located in Russia and is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline. This important infrastructure facility serves to store and distribute diesel fuel, which is actively used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation forces. The well-established system of fuel supply by the tank farm is an important component of supporting the Russian army’s military operations in Ukraine.
A hit and a large-scale fire
According to operational information, a massive fire broke out after the strike on the oil depot. The fire at the facility covered a large area, which confirms the effectiveness of the strike and its strategic importance for the war effort.
Further clarification on the implications
The consequences of the military operation are currently being clarified. However, it can already be stated that the attack on the oil depot caused significant damage to the Russian occupation forces, limiting their resources for warfare. Further details on the destruction and the extent of the fire will be provided later.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their fight for the liberation of the temporarily occupied territories, inflicting powerful strikes on key enemy infrastructure.
