During a successful operation in Russia’s Kursk region, Ukrainian forces captured 13 Russian soldiers. The commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Oleksandr Pavliuk, shared the news along with a video of the event.
“The Kursk operation: After five days of fierce fighting, the enemy was left without water and ammunition. The result — they raised the white flag,” Pavliuk stated.
According to Pavliuk, the 13 prisoners were captured by the Separate Mechanized Steppe Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, with four of the Russian soldiers sustaining serious injuries. This marks a significant achievement amid the ongoing operations by Ukrainian forces on Russian territory.
The incident highlights the increasing pressure on Russian troops, who continue to face mounting losses and signs of exhaustion on the battlefield.
