According to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, as of 19 October 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops have reached a critical level, which underscores the high cost of aggression. In just one day, the enemy lost 1,380 people, bringing the total losses since the start of the war to 677,180.
Losses of Russian troops from 24 February 2022 to 19 October 2024:
- Personnel: about 677,180 people (+1,380)
- Tanks: 9 035 units (+8)
- Armoured combat vehicles: 18 072 units (+19)
- Artillery systems: 19,548 units (+15)
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,232 units
- Air defence equipment: 978 units
- Aircraft: 369 units
- Helicopters: 329 units
- Operational and tactical drones: 17,230 units (+78)
- Cruise missiles: 2,623 (+3)
- Ships and boats: 28 units
- Submarines: 1 unit
- Automotive equipment and tankers: 26,946 units (+38)
- Special equipment: 3,473 units (+25)
These data illustrate not only the scale of losses, but also the determination of the Ukrainian forces to defend the country. The latest actions of our army continue to deal serious blows to the aggressor’s resources, hindering its attempts to restore its combat capability.
The Ukrainian military, despite the difficult conditions, demonstrate resilience and readiness to fight. Each of us can contribute to the victory by supporting our army and protecting our national interests.
