This morning, July 11, the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched several kamikaze drones over the Western Galilee. The first alarm was raised around 11:00 a.m. and the siren sounded for 10 minutes. Fixed direct hits. As a result of a drone explosion near Kibbutz Kabri in the Mate Asher Regional Council, one Israeli was critically injured.

Residents of Kibbutz Kabri reported a series of powerful explosions and posted photos of the damage on social media. The pictures show destroyed houses, damaged cars and wreckage of drones. Eyal Ovadya, a resident of the kibbutz, told the Ynet correspondent: “After the alarm signal, I hid in a protected room. This is not the first time our kibbutz has been shelled, but this time the scale of the damage is much greater than ever before.”

Kenny and Ronit’s house was also badly damaged. “We were already getting into the car when the siren sounded,” the couple said. – We ran out of the car and ran into the house. We didn’t have time to run to the protected room, but we are safe. If we had stayed in the car when the drone exploded, we would hardly have survived.”

Around 10:20 a.m., residents of the Upper Galilee received a warning about the possible penetration of enemy aircraft. The IDF press service reported that several aerial targets were intercepted, but some drones exploded near populated areas.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying it was in response to Israeli strikes.
