US President Joe Biden unexpectedly took part in a press conference at the White House, where he attracted the attention of journalists not only with serious questions but also with jokes about his return to the presidential race, the Washington Post reports.

The event lasted about 15 minutes, and at the end of the speech, when one of the reporters asked if he planned to reconsider his decision to drop out of the race, Biden, smiling, exclaimed: “I’m coming back!” This joke became a real sensation, as the president announced his withdrawal from the race in July, supporting the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris.

However, behind a calm facade, Biden recently expressed concern about possible unrest in the upcoming elections. At the same time, news that Donald Trump is preparing a list of excuses to challenge the election results only increases the tension in the political climate.

Biden’s humorous statement highlights his ability to stay in touch with the public and demonstrates that even in the most serious of times, politicians can have a sense of humour. Voters are eagerly awaiting the next steps in this unpredictable political game.
