Donald Trump’s administration is likely to see a significant representation of Jewish personalities whose influence could affect both US domestic policy and international relations. In particular, the Jewish community is paying attention to the role of representatives with ties to Israel and expectations of their influence on decisions regarding the Middle East. According to Time Ukraine Israel , citing Vesti, the representatives include both Trump’s long-time associates and new figures who will play a decisive role in his administration.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump: the legacy of the first term

Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, and his wife Ivanka are known as the most prominent supporters of pro-Israeli policies during Trump’s first term in office. Their activities ranged from economic cooperation with Canada and Mexico to the achievement of the historic Abraham Accords, which normalised relations between Israel and several Arab countries. In his second term, Kushner is expected to maintain an active, albeit more shadowy, influence, especially in the Middle East.

Stephen Miller: the voice of radical solutions

One of the most influential figures in Trump’s new team is Stephen Miller, who returns to the position of deputy chief of staff. Previously, he ran America First Legal and is considered a strong supporter of anti-immigration solutions that have strengthened US border security. Miller, who has Jewish roots, is a long-time supporter of Israel and is likely to continue to lobby for the country’s interests in the political arena.

David Friedman: a staunch defender of Israel

Former US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, who played a key role in moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, will continue his work, albeit in a new role. It is expected that Friedman will deal with Israeli issues in the US State Department, in particular, focusing on promoting the annexation of Judea and Samaria.

Steven Witkoff: a business partner in the diplomatic arena

Steven Witkoff, a businessman and friend of Trump’s, will serve as the president’s special representative for the Middle East. Despite his lack of diplomatic experience, his commitment to Israel, as in the case of Friedman, was a decisive factor. Vitkoff also chaired Trump’s inaugural committee, which demonstrates the president’s special trust in his personality.

Miriam Adelson: a voice for Jewish voters

Miriam Adelson, an influential figure in the Republican Party and the widow of billionaire Sheldon Adelson, is a well-known supporter of pro-Israeli policies. Having donated substantial sums to Trump’s campaign, she helped to promote his initiatives and took an active part in creating an anti-Semitic agenda for the party.

Boris Epstein: connection with Ukraine

Boris Epstein, a Moscow-born Trump strategist, will be in charge of Ukraine. In the new administration, he is expected to take on the role of special envoy to Ukraine starting in January 2025, which could influence future US policy towards Ukraine.

Howard Lutnyk: shadow cardinal and minister of trade

Howard Lighthizer, a billionaire and close ally of Trump, will be appointed Secretary of Commerce. Known for his support of pro-Israel initiatives, Lighthizer will be the voice of the Republican party in the economic arena, continuing the course of supporting entrepreneurship.

Lee Zeldin: Environmental Protection Agency

Lee Zeldin, a former congressman and Jewish advocate, will head the Environmental Protection Agency. His sceptical attitude to many environmental initiatives may determine the direction of a new policy aimed at balancing ecology and industrial development.

Laura Loomer and Sid Rosenberg: Influence without positions

Although Laura Loomer and Sid Rosenberg do not hold official positions, their voices in defence of Israel and support of Trump will remain loud. Loomer, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump, and Rosenberg, a popular radio host, are considered important media allies of the new administration.
Trump’s Jewish team, which has formed around the president, could have a major impact on political processes both within the US and internationally. Due to their close ties to Israel and strong support for pro-Israeli policies, these individuals will help implement new initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries and supporting Jewish interests in the United States.
