US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg strongly condemned Russia’s missile attack on Sumy on Palm Sunday, 13 April. According to him, the attack on civilian infrastructure is “beyond decency”, even by the standards of war.
“As a former military leader, I understand what targeting is, and it’s wrong. That’s why President Trump is working hard to end this war,” Kellogg wrote on social media site X.
To recap, Russian troops fired two ballistic missiles at the centre of Sumy. The shelling damaged civilian objects, including administrative buildings and residential areas.
