Last night, several Russian regions were attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. Most reports of explosions came from the Tula region, in particular from the city of Aleksin.This was reported on Tuesday, 14 January, by Russian Telegram channels
Details of the attack
Local residents report that more than 10 explosions were heard over Aleksyn around midnight. Eyewitnesses posted videos showing drones exploding in midair.
Officials in the Tula region assured that there were no casualties, but did not disclose the details of the incident.
Possible goals
Ukrainian sources suggest that the attack could have targeted factories in the region that are of strategic importance. The Andriushchenko Time Telegram channel notes that there are enterprises in Alexina that may be related to the defence industry.
Other regions under attack
In addition to the Tula region, explosions were also heard in Bryansk and Belgorod. Air defences were activated in the occupied Crimea, indicating a wide geography of attacks.
Russian Telegram channels report panic among the local population, but there is no confirmed information on the extent of the damage.
