Iran’s President announced strategic steps to strengthen external ties with key states, including European countries.
This was reported by TimeUkraineIsrael portal, citing the Tasnim agency.

Active negotiations with Europe

In a recent speech, the Iranian President stressed the importance of expanding international relations as part of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy. According to him, one of the main directions of this strategy is active negotiations with Europe, in particular with countries seeking to increase economic cooperation with Iran. “From the very beginning of my term in office, I have emphasised the need to develop relations with all countries of the world, including European states,” the President said. He also added that negotiations with European partners are ongoing, but there are certain obstacles, including those related to the interference of Zionist forces trying to complicate the process.

Developing cooperation with neighbouring countries

In particular, at a meeting with a group of former Iranian foreign ministers, Masoud Mezikian, a member of the government, focused on the results of diplomatic efforts. He noted that Iran has made significant progress in its relations with neighbouring countries, including China and Russia, which has allowed the launch of several important infrastructure and economic projects. According to Mezikian, the exchange of delegations between these countries continues, and Iran is actively working to remove barriers to the implementation of agreements under bilateral agreements.

“The Chinese are interested in intensifying the implementation of infrastructure and construction projects in Iran, and with Russia we are expanding and improving transit and gas transmission lines,” he added.

Negotiations with India and the Persian Gulf

Regarding relations with India, the Iranian president stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of the Chabahar port development project, which is key to expanding transit routes and increasing economic cooperation between the two countries. In addition, the Gulf states are actively interested in developing cooperation with Iran, particularly in the field of transit.

Development of relations with Egypt

The President also spoke about his meetings with international leaders. In particular, at his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, they discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations between Iran and Egypt. An important element of these talks was the development of economic cooperation, in particular through joint investment projects.

Strategic steps for sustainability

The Iranian President also stressed the importance of diplomacy for achieving internal stability and development of the country. “In order to solve internal problems and develop the country, we must also work on foreign policy, organise international relations and eliminate tensions in the region,” he stressed.

In addition, he noted that even in relations with the United States, Iran will not avoid the need for cooperation, and this will take place within the framework of regional and international politics. He emphasised the importance of independently managing the country’s foreign policy, which will allow Iran to maintain independence and stability in the international arena.

President’s conclusions

In conclusion, the Iranian president thanked his advisers and diplomats for their active participation in the process of strengthening relations with other countries. He also stressed that it is important to adhere to the principles of tolerance towards both friends and potential adversaries in order to ensure Iran’s long-term development and stability in the global political arena.
