Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev made another scandalous statement, openly calling for the physical elimination of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In a post on the X platform , he used rhetoric reminiscent of Nazi propaganda, calling Zelensky a “mad dog who should be put to sleep”.
The Kremlin’s provocative statements
“The Trump administration no longer wants to feed the Nazi mutt from Kyiv,” Medvedev wrote, commenting on Donald Trump’s decision to cut off military aid to Ukraine.
“The crippled dog came to old and weak Europe, which exclaimed with joy: “That’s my dog!” But there is no point, a mad dog is dangerous. Therefore, it is better to put it to sleep without suffering,” the Russian official added.
The Trump administration no longer wants to feed the Nazi mutt in Kiev. The flea-ridden dog was picked up by a decrepit Europe, joyfully exclaiming "My doggie"! It's no use, the mad parasitic dog is dangerous. So, better to put it down quietly, without any suffering. Dixi.

These statements are yet another manifestation of the Kremlin’s aggressive rhetoric, which is increasingly resembling the language of genocide. Russia no longer hides its intention to eliminate the Ukrainian leadership physically, justifying it with propaganda clichés.
Europe is a new target of attack
This is not Medvedev’s first offensive statement. Last month, he called Europe “an old frigid whore going crazy with jealousy and rage”, commenting on a conversation between Trump and Putin. Such rhetoric once again demonstrates the Kremlin’s anti-Western stance, which is trying to split the unity of the West in supporting Ukraine.
The world’s reaction
Western analysts have already condemned these statements, emphasising that such statements are indirect threats of physical elimination of the Ukrainian leader. Experts emphasise that such rhetoric further undermines the chances of any diplomatic dialogue with Moscow.
The world must immediately respond to the Kremlin’s calls for the assassination of Ukrainian leaders and end any illusions that a deal with the Putin regime is possible.
