The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has made new accusations against Israel, saying that the Israeli side is deliberately spreading its military aggression to Judea, Samaria and Lebanon. According to Cursorinfo, Qatar, which plays an important role as a mediator in attempts to reach a truce and hostage agreements in the Gaza Strip, strongly condemns Israel’s actions.

Opening the meeting of the Shura, Qatar’s advisory council in Doha, Al Thani said: “The easiest and safest way to stop the escalation on the border with Lebanon is to immediately end the war in Gaza.” According to the emir, destruction and violence cannot suppress the Palestinian people who are fighting for their legitimate rights.

The Emir also stressed that the continuation of military operations in the region, including active hostilities in Lebanon, is part of Israel’s pre-planned strategy. He called on the international community to make efforts to bring the conflict to a swift end, stressing the need to stop the violence to ensure a lasting peace.
