On Tuesday, 14 January, joint headquarters exercises of the Joint Command of the regional grouping of troops (forces) of Russia and Belarus started in Minsk. According to the Ministry of Defence of Belarus on its Telegram channel, the main purpose of the exercise is to “increase the defence capability” of the so-called “Union State”.
The exercise will last until 16 January. The topic of the exercise is decision-making on the use of the regional grouping of Belarusian troops to ensure the military security of the Union State.
