The UK Ministry of Defence has announced record weekly losses among the Russian military in the war against Ukraine. According to London, from 22 to 28 April, the number of Russians killed and wounded reached 1,200 per day – the highest figure since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Analysts attribute this dynamic to intense fighting in the Avdiivka area and the intensification of Russia’s offensive in eastern Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to carry out precision strikes on the enemy’s rear positions.

The UK emphasises that despite heavy losses, the Kremlin continues to send more and more forces to the front, regardless of human resources.
