Donald Trump has said that his first international visit if re-elected as US president will include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. He also does not rule out additional stops in the region.
According to Bloomberg, the trip could take place next month or a little later. Trump recalled that during his first term, he visited Saudi Arabia, promising Riyadh $450 billion in US investment.
At the same time, experts point out that Trump did not mention Saudi Arabia’s mediation role in potential negotiations between the US, Russia and Ukraine. However, he had previously stated that he was confident that Vladimir Putin would support an agreement to end the war.
The US president did not specify which other countries could be included in his itinerary.
