Donald Trump, 78, President of the United States, has undergone his annual physical and assured journalists that he is in great shape. After the check-up, he made comments on the plane on board his Air Force One en route to Florida.
“Overall, I feel great. I have a good heart. Good soul. A very good soul,” Trump said, adding that this time he also took a cognitive test to “differentiate himself from Biden”.
Trump stressed that all the answers on the test were correct and hinted at the publication of a full medical report on Sunday.
The health of American election candidates has become extremely sensitive at the end of the term of the current president, Joe Biden, who is 82 years old. Biden often looks physically exhausted, while Trump tries to position himself as an energetic leader.
