US President Donald Trump called on Iran to urgently conclude a new nuclear deal to avoid further losses, escalation and destruction. He made the statement on his social media against the backdrop of the escalating situation in the Middle East.

“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest possible terms: ‘Just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they came, they just couldn’t do it,” Trump said.

The politician stressed that the United States possesses the most modern and powerful weapons in the world, some of which are already at Israel’s disposal, and these supplies, according to him, will only grow.

Trump also made it clear that the US and Israeli sides are ready for decisive action: “Some Iranian hardliners who refused to compromise have already been killed. It will only get worse”.

The US president warned that future strikes would be even more devastating and called on Tehran to stop the cycle of violence. “There has already been much death and destruction, but there is still time to end this slaughter. Iran must make a deal before there is nothing left,” he wrote, addressing the country’s leadership.

This statement came amid growing tensions between Israel and Iran, and may indicate a new stage of political and military pressure on Tehran from the West.
