US President Donald Trump’s ultimatum to end the war in Ukraine within 50 days is a “powerful signal to the Kremlin” and a clear call to end the aggression. This was stated by Trump’s spiritual adviser, Pastor Mark Burns, in a commentary to Ukrinform.
“This is a limit that Putin cannot ignore. It would have been better to give the Kremlin three days, not 50, because every day is a new casualty. But even so, this is a clear message: peace must come, and quickly,” Burns said.
The pastor stressed that the atrocities of the Russian military are not only political aggression, but also spiritual crimes against humanity. He called on believers around the world to “unite with President Trump, Ukraine, and the God of justice”.
Burns also stressed that America should back up the ultimatum with military support for Ukraine so that it can defend its right to freedom.
“Silence is complicity. We will not sit idly by while churches are destroyed and Christians are persecuted. This is a fight not only for territory, but for the spiritual principles of freedom and dignity,” the Trump adviser added.
