U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will pay a visit to Brussels on 2-4 April to attend a meeting of NATO foreign ministers. This was reported by the press service of the US State Department.
The main topics of the meeting: Ukraine, defence and China
The meeting is expected to focus on the Alliance’s security, including increased investment in defence and long-term support for Ukraine.
Rubio will also meet with representatives of the Indo-Pacific region to discuss the growing threat from China and its impact on Euro-Atlantic security.
In addition, during the visit, the US Secretary of State plans to coordinate the partners’ positions on the upcoming Hague Summit this summer.
