President Erdogan calls for an end to the bloodshed in Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced his intention to discuss with all world leaders the issue of stopping the bloodshed in the Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza, during his speech at the UN General Assembly scheduled for September 24. Erdogan emphasized the importance of joint actions to overcome the genocide and aggressive policy of Israel, noting that “we must do everything possible to resist this storm of death.” This is reported by the publication “Anadolu“.

UN General Assembly: key issues of the agenda

Erdogan spoke at a press conference before his visit to the United States, noting that leaders of more than 130 countries are scheduled to participate in the General Assembly. The President emphasized that this year the “Future Summit” organized by the UN Secretary General, which is designed to develop joint solutions to solve global problems, will be of particular importance.

A call to reform global governance

In his speech at the summit, Erdogan intends to emphasize the need to reform the UN Security Council and the international financial architecture. “We must strive for a more inclusive and fair structure that can effectively respond to modern challenges,” he said.

Humanitarian crisis in Gaza

The President also drew attention to the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where thousands of people are suffering from hunger and lack of medical resources. He stated that “the Israeli government has killed more than 2 million people in Gaza, turning it into a Nazi death camp.” Erdogan called on the international community to take measures to ensure a permanent ceasefire and humanitarian aid.

Relations with Lebanon and Syria

Commenting on Israel’s cyberattacks on Lebanon, the president emphasized that these actions are an example of terrorist behavior and called on the international community to act to prevent further escalations. He also touched on the issue of instability in Syria, emphasizing the need for dialogue between Turkey and Syria to achieve peace in the region.

Visit to the USA: plans and expectations

Erdogan traveled to the United States to attend the 79th UN General Assembly, where he plans to meet with a number of world leaders, including representatives of countries participating in the talks. He expressed hope that his visit will contribute to strengthening international relations and finding solutions to current global challenges.
