On the night of September 17, a tragic accident occurred on Highway 444 near Taibe. A 20-year-old woman, fleeing from a police chase at high speed, struck and killed 40-year-old motorcyclist Yaser Dsuki, the owner of a pharmacy in Taibe. Vesty reports. Earlier, the suspect ignored police orders to stop and hit an officer, injuring his leg. Police began a pursuit, during which the suspect crossed intersections on red lights.
Besides the motorcyclist, a pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. With the family’s permission, police released video footage of the accident.
Later today, the suspect will be brought to Petah Tikva’s magistrate court for an extension of her arrest.
