Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir, the son-in-law of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, was killed on Wednesday during an Israeli airstrike in Damascus, AFP reports, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir was one of the “Lebanese victims of the Israeli raid,” which targeted an apartment in a residential building in the Al Mazzeh district of the Syrian capital. A source close to Hezbollah confirmed the information, adding that al-Qasir was the brother of Jaafar al-Qasir, responsible for transferring weapons from Iran to Lebanon, who Israel claimed to have killed on Tuesday in a strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs.
According to Syria’s state news agency SANA, three people were killed, and another three were injured in the Israeli strike on the Mezzah district of Damascus.
