As newsru.co.il reports, September 3, 2024 marked the 333rd day of the “Iron Swords” war, which Israel is waging against terrorist organizations in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. On this day, Israeli forces continued active combat operations, destroying Hamas infrastructure, eliminating militants and striking Hezbollah targets.
Chronology of events 09/03/2024
16:00: The IDF announced the elimination of a Hezbollah militant in Markab, in southern Lebanon. Objects of this organization were also attacked in Rihan district. Israeli territory was hit by rockets, but there were no casualties.
3:00 p.m.: As a result of an Israeli Air Force airstrike on Naama College in Gaza, several terrorists were eliminated. The IDF emphasized that all measures were taken to minimize harm to the civilian population. Meanwhile, alarm sirens went off in the Upper Galilee region due to suspicions of a UAV invasion.
2:00 p.m.: Gaza’s (Hamas-run) Ministry of Health reported that 40,819 people have been killed and 94,291 wounded in the Gaza Strip since the start of hostilities. In the last day, 33 people died in Gaza, 67 were injured.
1:00 p.m.: The IDF discovered and destroyed a tunnel over 1 km long in the Beit Lahiya area of the northern Gaza Strip. The tunnel was used to transport weapons. The operation was carried out by the forces of the 643rd Territorial Division “Shualei a-Darom” (“Gaza”) and the engineering special forces “Yaalom”.
12:00 p.m.: Sources in the West Bank report an explosion in Kafr Dan, possibly due to an IDF attack on one of the houses.
11:00 a.m.: The engineering unit of the “Yehuda” brigade completed preparations for the demolition of the house of the terrorist in the village of Idna, who killed three Israeli policemen on September 1.
09:00: An IDF strike near Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza killed eight Hamas terrorists, including Special Forces commander Ahmad Wadia. The IDF emphasized that the operation was carried out taking into account the minimization of harm to civilians.
08:00: The Israeli military prepares to demolish the house of the terrorist who killed three Israeli policemen in the village of Idna.
07:00: The IDF conducts operations near the cemetery in Qalqilya.
06:00: A false alarm was reported in several settlements in northwestern Israel.
05:00: Sources in the West Bank report a siege on the home of terrorist Yusuf al-Daruish in al-Shuhad. After shelling the building with rockets, one militant was eliminated.
04:00: A powerful explosion rang out in the southern part of Gaza.
03:00: The IDF air force struck a facility on An-Nafaq Street in Gaza.
02:00: The IDF conducts operations in Siira and Burke, detaining suspected terrorists.
01:00: The IDF uses flare munitions in the Shechem area.
00:00: At least four people were killed in an airstrike on a facility in the Khan Younis area. The IDF reported that a UAV strike destroyed a group of terrorists in Tul Karem. Palestinian sources report several wounded in Tul Karem.
The IDF press service reported on the strikes on Hezbollah launchers in southern Lebanon, which led to the uncontrolled launch of rockets towards Israel. Some rockets were intercepted by air defense, others fell in uninhabited areas.
