Airlines suspend flights to the middle east amid rising conflict concerns

Concerns over the potential escalation of conflict in the Middle East have prompted international airlines to temporarily suspend flights to the region or avoid affected airspace. Here’s a summary of the actions taken by various airlines in response to the crisis:

Air Algeria
The Algerian airline has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Lebanon until further notice.

Air India
India’s national carrier has suspended regular flights to and from Tel Aviv until further notice.

Air France-KLM
Air France extended its suspension of flights between Paris and Beirut until August 11. The Dutch subsidiary KLM has canceled all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 26.

TAROM
Romanian airline Tarom has halted flights to Tel Aviv, Amman, and Beirut from August 6 to 12 due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. The airline had already suspended flights to Lebanon last week.

Delta Air Lines
The U.S. carrier has extended its suspension of flights between New York and Tel Aviv until August 31.

EasyJet
