During his visit to the United States, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to present Ukraine’s victory plan not only to current President Joe Biden but also to two key presidential candidates – Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. This was reported by Bloomberg.

A meeting with Vice President Harris is scheduled for next week in Washington, where Zelensky will have the opportunity to present his strategy for victory in the ongoing war with Russia. A meeting with Joe Biden is expected to take place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. At the same time, the Ukrainian leader also aims to share his plans with representatives of both U.S. political parties, including Donald Trump, who remains a prominent figure in the country’s political landscape.

Priorities of the Visit: NATO and EU Membership

One of the key issues Zelensky intends to address during his visit is securing support for Ukraine’s bid to join NATO and the European Union. In the context of the ongoing war, the Ukrainian leader will be seeking stronger security alliances and institutional backing from Western partners.

In addition to political talks, Zelensky is also expected to discuss economic and security agreements. A significant focus will be on securing more advanced weaponry to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities, a critical component of the country’s victory plan.

High-Level Meetings and Key Decisions

By presenting this plan to three influential U.S. political figures – Biden, Harris, and Trump – Zelensky aims to secure broad support for Ukraine across various political circles in the U.S., despite partisan differences. This move is strategically important for strengthening Ukraine’s position on the international stage and ensuring continued collaboration with the world’s largest economy and military power.
