A quiet Saturday morning on July 6th in the village of Odnorobivka, Kharkiv region, turned into a nightmare. A couple was tending to their household chores on their property when a sudden artillery shelling began from Russian forces.
The shelling resulted in the death of a well-known local volunteer. His wife sustained serious injuries and was urgently transported to a hospital in Kharkiv. This tragic incident was reported by Viktor Kovalenko, head of the Zolochiv community, in a comment to Suspilne Kharkiv.
“It was a normal day, and no one expected such a horror. Our volunteer was a person with a big heart, always ready to help anyone in need. His loss is irreplaceable. His wife is currently in critical condition in the hospital, and we all hope for her speedy recovery,”
The deceased volunteer was known for his selfless help to local residents. His kindness and dedication to the community will remain in the memory of everyone who knew him. The local residents, in mourning, express their condolences to the family of the deceased.
