On the night of 24 November, units of the Missile Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in close cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces, carried out an accurate group strike on the positions of the anti-aircraft missile division of the 1490th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 6th Army of the Russian Federation, located in the Kursk region. This was reported by the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing the telegram channel of the General Staff of Ukraine.
The strike resulted in a hit on the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, which is one of the main elements of Russian air defence systems. This strike was another success for the Ukrainian missile forces, which continue to inflict significant losses on enemy equipment.
It should be noted that the occupier’s unit, which was targeted, actively used the surface-to-surface system to hit stationary ground targets. These attacks are usually directed at civilian objects in the frontline regions of Ukraine, posing a deadly threat to civilians who are left defenceless during these attacks.
However, despite Russia’s numerous crimes against civilians, combat operations to defeat the occupiers’ military targets continue. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively performing the task of destroying enemy assets, which contributes to the safety of civilians and the liberation of territories.
