Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend, singer Grimes, has made several accusations against the billionaire, claiming that he does not allow her to see their children. She also said that after Musk’s cooperation with Donald Trump, his character changed and he became “unrecognisable”, Time Ukraine Israel reports, citing the Dailymail.
Fighting for custody and five months without a child
Grimes said that she had been fighting for custody of their three children for a year, during which she said she had not seen one of them for five months. In particular, the couple have two sons: X Æ A-Xii and Techno Mechanicus, and a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl. The source reports that although the dispute between the parents was resolved, the details of this situation were not made public.
Musk and MAGA: changing political views
Elon Musk, whose net worth is estimated at $315 billion, is an active supporter of the MAGA movement and recently celebrated with President-elect Donald Trump at a celebration in Mar-a-Lago. His public photos also often feature four-year-old X, who was recently officially assigned the task of overseeing the Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
Grimes’ experiences and emotional statements
Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) shared her emotional experiences, saying that she was very confused by Musk’s change of heart on politics, as well as her experiences with their custody battle in Texas. “I spent a year fighting for my children, going through horrific moments in a state where my Instagram posts and modelling became a pretext to take my children away,” Grimes wrote on social media.
Conflicts over access to children and family difficulties
She also added that she had not seen one of her children for five months during the ordeal, and that this was only part of what would remain behind closed doors. Grimes has repeatedly claimed that Musk has been aggressive, denying her access to her children even in tragic moments, including when her mother was ill.
Connecting with other mothers of Musk’s children
In addition, Grimes had previously asked another mother of Musk’s children, Siobhan Zilis, to help find him, as they had been unable to contact him due to his absence. Zilis, a Neuralink executive, is the mother of Musk’s twins Strider and Azur, as well as his third child, born earlier this year.

In total, Musk has 12 children with three women, including his first wife, Justine Wilson, with whom he has six older children, including twins and triplets. He has also repeatedly expressed his desire to have a large family, emphasising the importance of increasing the world’s birth rate.
